NEW Journey to begin in Fall 2010

I am so excited..I was accepted to the Healing Partners Program at Stanford... Healing Partners is a community- service program that pairs women diagnosed with breast cancer with Healing Touch provider volunteers. They have an extensive training program that I must complete. The final class is at the end of September 25-26, 2010. I look forward to such a wonderful life changing volunteer opportunity. More about program below.

It's easy to feel overwhelmed and powerless when you do nothing. But when you get involved, you feel the sense of hope and accomplishment that comes from knowing you are working to make things better.

Hope is one of the greatest gifts we have been given. It carries no price tag but its value is priceless. We cling to it when the future looks uncertain and praise it when things turn out better than we could have ever imagined. Hope is the foundation on which we build our dreams and aspirations. It has been the cornerstone upon which ordinary people have accomplished extraordinary things.

Giving back to Community is something close to my heart.
Below are organizations that I have donated and/or volunteered.

AIDS/LifeCycle: Ride to end Aids
AIDS/LifeCycle is the only AIDS fundraising bicycle event in California organized by the non-profit agencies that will benefit from the money raised by its participants. Our sole concern is providing critical services to people living with HIV and AIDS. Your support and commitment to this event is pivotal to our success.
